Refettorio OzHarvest Sydney
Refettorio OzHarvest Sydney is an Australian-first, social impact collaboration between OzHarvest and world renowned chef, Massimo Bottura and his charity Food for Soul. As part of a global project, Refettorio’s bring together those in need with a warm, nourishing meal in a unique, community hub setting in Surry Hills.
Based on our zero-waste philosophy, rescued ingredients will be transformed by OzHarvest chefs into gourmet vegetarian meals with the menu changing weekly.

- As a guest at a Neighbourhood Dinner, you will be treated to a delicious three-course vegetarian meal along with non-alcoholic drinks. Our talented chefs are masters at using sustainably and ethically sourced local produce to create zero-waste meals.
- Every ticket you buy helps us to feed at least four people in need, a nourishing free lunch during our weekday service. Refettorio OzHarvest Sydney is an entirely not-for-profit space. We rely on the generosity of our supporters to keep our doors open allowing us to connect with and support those experiencing food insecurity.
Alcohol:
With regards to alcohol, we don’t serve alcoholic beverages or permit BYO out of respect to our daytime guests, and their many struggles with substance and alcohol abuse. We offer beautiful non-alcoholic options, including house-made zero waste fruit shrub, non-alcoholic beers and tea and coffee.
