GoGet has been a part of Surry Hills since 2006, in partnership with the City of Sydney. GoGet currently operates over 100 vehicles in Surry Hills, which are used by over 4,800 residents and business members. GoGet allows local businesses access to a suite of vehicles including Vans, which help to reduce the cost and hassle of ownership.
On average, over 70% of local GoGet members typically no longer own a vehicle after joining and 1 GoGet car replaces an average of 10 private vehicles in the local area. This assists in freeing up parking as well as reducing average vehicle kilometres travelled by around 50%. It also helps to reduce CO2 emissions, while saving local residents money and encouraging them to live more locally and sustainably.

This year’s mural art project at The Clock Hotel will be created by artist, Kim Siew, and commissioned by Hawke’s Brewing Co. for the Heart of Surry Hills festival on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th of November.
For this project, Siew will create a temporary interactive mural artwork on the tiled wall on the Collins St side of The Clock, celebrating the environmental achievements of former Australian Prime Minister, Bob Hawke, who poured the very first Hawke's Lager at The Clock Hotel in 2017.
As part of Hawke’s Brewing Co.’s commitment to carrying on the Hawke legacy, the independent brewery has raised over $350,000 for their charity partner, Landcare Australia, helping to support community-based environmental projects around the country. Kim Siew’s mural will celebrate Hawke’s environmental legacy in spectacular colour — think Western Tailed Pygmy Possums, gum leaves, gum nuts, wattle and waratahs!
Kim Siew is a mural artist and illustrator living on Gadigal land, Sydney Australia. Her work is bold, playful, full of people and patterns and created with the sole intention of bringing a smile to your day.
Check out the mural as Kim Siew creates art in real time on Saturday the 26th and Sunday the 27th of November at The Clock Hotel.

On this not-so-typical walking tour, you will meander through dark alleys and winding lanes, discovering the beautiful architecture and dark history of Sydney’s most fascinating suburb. Starting at Central Station, you will stop for coffee at the legendary Royale Specialty on trendy Crown Street and finish at the Dove and Olive Hotel on Devonshire Street, where you have the option of lunching in one of Sydney's oldest establishments.
Discover the backstories of the “worst women of Sydney” on this small-group bar and nightlife tour!
This exclusive tour will operate for the 4 week duration of the The Heart of Surry Hills activation and supports a range of local businesses including Brix Distillers, Four Pillars Gin Laboratory, the Shakespeare Hotel and more.
Local Sauce Tours invites you on an evening tour of Surry Hills, combining drinks, food and an interactive story which will weave the past of Surry Hills together with the present.
The interative story will be focusing on the Queen of Surry Hills, Kate Leigh, and tell her story and the characters around her, with guests getting to each play a role and have their own lines to deliver during the tour. There will be at least 3 drink stops where we will have small "aperitif" style samples of food and drink.
